Ease
Ease is a pretty and relaxed cardigan with beautiful lace motif all along the opening at the front. It is knit from the top-down.
Choose between 3/4 sleeves or long sleeves.
You will need:
Approximately 525 (582, 708, 800, 925, 1016, 1056, 1252) metres / 574 (636, 774, 875, 1012, 1111, 1155, 1369) yards of Worsted weight yarn shown in Hemp for Knitting hempwol, colour ‘Italian Plum’ – note that if you are making long sleeves, you will need a little more yarn.
4 buttons (18 mm to 20 mm / 0.7 to 0.75 inches)
4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle and DPNs (adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge)
4 mm / US 6 circular needle and DPNs
4 stitch markers, 2 markers that you can open and hook (like safety pins), waste yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle
FINISHED SIZES
XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)/ approx. 77.5 (84, 95, 104.5, 117, 124.5, 136, 146) cm / 30.5 (33, 37.5, 41.5, 46, 49, 53.5, 57.5) inches finished circumference around the body when buttonned.
I suggest to choose a size with 2.5 cm/1” to 10 cm/4” of positive ease. The pattern includes schematics. Shown in size L.
GAUGE
19 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in St st on 4.5 mm / US 7 needle (after blocking, i.e. washing and drying)
