Dyemonds
I’m very happy to celebrate my 100th pattern publication with ‘Dyemonds’!
I knit my sample with two different colourways of Spincycle’s Dyed in the Wool which is a yarn with unique colour transitions. With a bold geometric pattern setting the stage, both background and pattern colours change randomly, resulting in an exciting and beautiful effect. No two sweaters will ever be the same, even when using the same colourways! Truly unique wearable art!
Of course, you’ll also get beautiful results with one solid colour and a yarn with colour transitions or two solid colours.
The sweater is knit from the top down, in the round, seamlessly. There are short rows to shape the top of the sweater.
The sweater features an all-over colourwork pattern but no more than 2 yarn colours are used. The motif is easily memorized and you’ll be surprised how quickly you can knit this sweater!
